Job Summary
Closing Coordinator responsible for operational support and coordination of loan modifications within CPC’s community stabilization portfolio. Manages intake and tracking of modification requests, coordinates documentation (amendments, extensions, rate changes, covenant updates, collateral adjustments), serves as primary contact across Asset Management, Servicing, Legal, Credit, Finance, borrowers, and third-party partners, and performs post-closing quality control to ensure accuracy of loan terms, fees, escrow requirements, and repayment schedules. Requires Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 3–5+ years in loan closing/servicing/CRE finance; strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; proficiency with loan servicing systems and MS Office; ability to manage deadlines and maintain data quality. This remote role is available in Missouri, Kansas, and Texas; periodic travel to Manhattan or Chappaqua, NY may be required. Salary range $70,000–$80,000; applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; CPC does not provide sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Real Estate, or related field; equivalent experience considered
- 3–5+ years of experience in loan closing, servicing, asset management, or commercial real estate finance
- Strong understanding of loan documents and multifamily or commercial real estate terminology
- Ability to interpret, analyze, and summarize legal and financial documents
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Proficiency with loan servicing or banking systems and MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word); knowledge of escrow, tax, insurance, and covenant compliance processes
