Job Summary
Carry out personal protective service assignments to ensure the safety of senior executives, families, and VIPs, including static post coverage, security advances, route planning, and executive transportation. Develop and deliver special event security plans, conduct threat assessments, and coordinate countermeasures with leadership and local law enforcement. Support investigative activities and collaborate with protective intelligence functions to assess safety prior to VIP arrivals. Submit timesheets, expense reports, and complete required administrative duties and retraining programs. This strictly on-call, part-time role requires multi-state licensing, a driver's license, and CPR/First Aid certification.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of related experience in security services, military or law enforcement or suitable equivalent education
- 2 years of experience specific to executive protection
- Suitable candidate must have 5 years of related experience in security services, military or law enforcement or suitable equivalent education plus 2 years of experience specific to executive protection
- Must possess required state or municipal licensing to provide armed personal protection services - Florida, Texas, Washington, Tennessee, Virginia, and/or Las Vegas, Nevada
- Must possess a state issued driver's license
- Must be CPR, First Aid, AED certified
- Job may require standing, sitting, moving for extended periods of time
- Exposure to extreme environmental conditions occurs occasionally
- Individual may be required to travel
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Preference given to those who have completed an Executive Protection training academy
