Job Summary
Lead CLO transactions from launch through closing with minimal supervision, owning key workstreams, timelines, and deliverables for both broadly syndicated and private credit deals. Originate opportunities through dialogue with managers, issuers, and investors while maintaining awareness of market dynamics to communicate color to stakeholders. Review, analyze, and negotiate documentation and structural terms, escalating issues early and managing deal evolution in-market to ensure accurate analysis and marketing materials. Partner with syndicate, analytics, and sales to deliver coordinated execution, lead client calls on structural nuances, and train junior team members. Requires SIE, Series 7, Series 63, and Series 79 licenses.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in CLO structuring/execution (BSL and/or private credit) or closely related structured credit role
- Strong working knowledge of CLO documentation, transaction mechanics, and deal execution processes
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex transactions and multiple parallel deadlines
- Strong client-facing communication skills and relationship management capabilities
- Strong quantitative and analytical skillset (advanced Excel required)
- High attention to detail, sound judgment, and strong ownership mindset in a fast-moving environment
- Familiarity with rating agency criteria and the CLO ratings process
- Existing CLO manager and/or investor relationships
- SIE license
- Series 7 license
- Series 63 license
- Series 79 license
