Job Summary
CLO Analyst (G13) responsible for managing transaction deliverables in CLO analytics, including waterfalls, investor reports, and hypothetical test trades; interpreting trust indentures, setting up payment calculations, reconciling collateral data, and developing value-added processes with Relationship Management and Deal Administration. Requires leading complex documentation review, interfacing with Technology, Legal, and Compliance, and using SQL and advanced Excel to manipulate large collateral datasets while mentoring new joiners. Strong analytical, client-service, and communication skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, or a related field, or the equivalent work experience
- Five to six years of relevant work experience, preferably with exposure to or understanding of CLOs / Syndicated bank loans / Fixed income securities / Securitisation / Debt capital markets
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Experience with financial models and advanced Excel skills (advantageous)
- Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and interpret data accurately
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision
- Market awareness and strategic thinking
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Client-centric approach with strong partnership-building skills (internal and external)
- Documentation review skills
- Complex analytical transaction skills
