Job Summary
Assess and provide appropriate interventions for patient and family health problems, including teaching, counseling, and support. Act as a collaborative clinic team member or dedicated telephone assistant to assist providers. Manage direct patient care with prioritization in a fast-paced environment, utilizing electronic medical records, fax, and copy machines. Requires current Alabama RN license, one year of clinic experience, and BCLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Alabama State Registered Nurses License
- Minimum of one year clinic experience in direct patient care setting
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly
- Must be able to use computer terminal, fax machine and copy machine
- Must be able to work well in a team environment
