Job Summary
Assess patient plans and provide comprehensive care independently or in collaboration with other health care professionals. Perform health assessments, diagnose acute and chronic illnesses, write prescriptions, and formulate treatment plans emphasizing health promotion, disease prevention, and management. Serve as an educational resource for patients, staff, and the community. Requires MSN, current RN licensure in Alabama, FNP board certification, and successful completion of a National Certification Exam. Primary care clinic experience is strongly preferred. Full-time, 1st shift.
Required Qualifications
- MSN
- current RN licensure in the State of Alabama
- FNP board certification
- licensure in the State of Alabama
- Successful completion of a National Certification Exam for NP
- Current registration through the Alabama board of Nursing
- Current registration through the Board of Medical Examiners
- BLS
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
