Job Summary
Conduct registration, insurance verification, scheduling, and telephone triage. Perform patient care assessments, collect vital signs, prepare exam rooms, and gather specimens. Provide patient education and support while returning patient phone calls. Maintain computer, fax, and copy machine proficiency within a fast-paced clinic environment. Requires high school diploma, current Certified Medical Assistant certification, and minimum one year of clinic experience. Phlebotomy and GPMS/EMR experience are preferred. BCLS certification must be obtained during orientation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Certified Medical Assistant
- Minimum of one year clinic experience in clinic setting
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly
- Ability to use computer
- Ability to use fax machine
- Ability to use copy machine
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- BCLS
