Job Summary
Register patients, verify insurance, and schedule appointments while answering telephone inquiries. Initiate patient care assessments, collect vital signs, prepare exam rooms for procedures, and gather specimens. Provide patient education and support to the physician, patient, and family. Return patient phone calls and maintain accurate records using the EMR system. Requires a Certified Medical Assistant with at least one year of clinic experience, phlebotomy skills preferred, and BCLS certification. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Certified Medical Assistant
- Minimum of one year clinic experience in clinic setting
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly
- Ability to use computer
- Ability to use fax machine
- Ability to use copy machine
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- BCLS
