Job Summary
Register patients, verify insurance, and manage scheduling while answering telephone inquiries. Conduct patient care assessments, gather vital signs, prepare exam rooms, and collect specimens. Provide patient education and support to physicians and families. Return incoming patient calls promptly. Maintain excellent communication skills in a fast-paced environment requiring frequent task prioritization. Utilize computer, fax, and copy machines with attention to detail while working collaboratively within the team. Experience with GPMS/EMR is desired.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Certified Medical Assistant
- Minimum of one year clinic experience in clinic setting
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly
- Ability to use computer
- Ability to use fax machine
- Ability to use copy machine
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- BCLS
