Job Summary
Conduct general nursing duties, including suture/staple removal, wound care, and dressing changes while assisting orthopedic physicians under clinical coordinator direction. Schedule and precert MRIs, lab work, procedures, and surgeries; locate imaging and test results for upcoming appointments. Prepare exam rooms, restock supplies, and power up computers. Assist with verifying pre-op labs, scheduling surgery clearances, and filling out disability, return-to-work, and insurance forms. Provide patient education, answer phone calls, and communicate test results to patients as directed by physicians. Travel locally to satellite offices as schedule requires. Full-time position averaging 40 hours per week. ROT or CCMA certification required by first 90 days of employment.
Required Qualifications
- HS/GED
- ROT or CCMA certification required by first 90 days of employment
- Minimum one-year full-time clinical experience in healthcare
