Job Summary
Initiate patient care, gather vital signs, prepare exam rooms for procedures, and collect specimens. Provide patient education and support to assist physicians, patients, and families. Assist coworkers and draw blood as needed. Requires a high school diploma or GED, with a preferred certified medical assistant program or CNA license. Phlebotomy experience and one year of clinic setting experience are preferred. Must possess excellent communication skills for a fast-paced environment, ability to prioritize tasks, and proficiency with computers, fax, and copy machines. BLS certification must be received within the orientation period.

Desired Qualifications
- Completion of certified medical assistant program
- Completion of the Huntsville Hospital Patient Care Tech program
- CNA
- LPN
- BLS
- Phlebotomy experience
- Minimum of one year experience working in a clinic setting
