Job Summary
Initiate patient care, gather vital signs, and prepare exam rooms for procedures in the Plastic & Recon Surgery clinic. Collect specimens, assist coworkers, draw blood, and provide patient education and support as needed. Maintain excellent communication skills to prioritize tasks quickly in a fast-paced environment while utilizing computers, fax machines, and copy machines. Requires high school diploma, preferred CNA or LPN license, and phlebotomy experience. Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401K match available.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly
- Must be able to use computer, fax machine and copy machine
- Must be detail oriented and work well in a team environment
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of certified medical assistant program
- Completion of the Huntsville Hospital Patient Care Tech program
- CNA
- CNA or LPN
- BLS must be received within the orientation period
- Phlebotomy experience
- Minimum of one year experience working in a clinic setting
