CLN Clinic Assistant - DeKalb Orthopedics & Sports Medicine - Centre, AL - Full Time

Assist the physician in patient treatment issues, provide direct patient care, and maintain proper standards of care. Perform patient check-out procedures, schedule follow-up and referral visits, and collect deductibles and co-pays. Assist with physical examinations, obtain laboratory specimens, and prepare them for transport. Adhere to professional ethics regarding patient confidentiality and enforce accepted safety practices for patients and the hospital. Report safety hazards and participate in safety instructional programs. Requires a high school diploma or GED, with six months to one year of physician office experience preferred; Certified Medical Assistant certification is preferred.
