Job Summary
Gather vital signs, prepare exam rooms for procedures, and collect specimens while initiating patient care. Provide patient education and support to assist the physician, patient, and family. Assist coworkers and draw blood as needed. Maintain excellent communication skills to prioritize tasks quickly in a fast-paced clinic environment. Use computers, fax machines, and copy machines while working detail-oriented in a team setting. High school diploma or GED required; CNA or LPN preferred with phlebotomy experience. BLS certification must be received within orientation.

- Completion of certified medical assistant program
- Completion of the Huntsville Hospital Patient Care Tech program
- CNA
- LPN
- BLS certification received within the orientation period
- Phlebotomy experience
- Minimum of one year experience working in a clinic setting

- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly
- Computer proficiency
