Job Summary

Conduct crisis intervention, safety planning, and consultation on school campuses while providing evidence-based social-emotional and mental health services to students and families. Deliver individual, group, and family therapy alongside case management and collateral services, utilizing assessments, intakes, and treatment plans to improve behavior and academic achievement. Collaborate daily with teachers, administrators, nurses, and caregivers to support program goals, process referrals, and train staff. Maintain accurate electronic case records and participate in team meetings, supervision, and required trainings. Travel between multiple school sites as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in psychology or related field
  • Must be registered with the California BBS as an AMFT, APCC, or ACSW
  • Minimum 1-year of experience working with children and adolescents
  • Must adhere to agency client confidentiality, HIPAA, and mandated reporting policies
  • Demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with a diverse population, possess cultural sensitivity, and maintain appropriate boundaries with clients
  • Must be able to take initiative, set goals, and prioritize
  • Must be organized and computer literate
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position during shift
  • Moves throughout the building
  • Moves, raises, or lowers (includes upward pulling) an object or equipment up to 50 lbs
  • Transports an object, from 20 to 50 lbs, across the facility, for various needs
  • Ability to exert force upon an object so that the object moves away from the force
  • Ability to exert force upon an object so that the object moves toward the force (includes jerking)
  • Ascending or descending stairs and ladders when applicable
  • Body agility is emphasized
  • Balancing: Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when ascending, descending, traversing
  • Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist, requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles
  • Handling: Seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with objects or office machinery
  • Communicating: Expressing or exchanging ideas
  • Must successfully complete a motor history check
  • Must possess and maintain a current valid California driver's license
  • Must possess and maintain a valid auto insurance policy
  • Must be available to work evenings as needed to support the various needs of the program
  • Must be able to work under deadlines, various projects and dealing with clients in crisis and difficult situations
  • Must be able to effectively lead and coach others

Desired Qualifications

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
