Job Summary
Provide psychotherapy, individual counseling, and clinical assessments to address behavioral, social, and emotional needs of children, adolescents, and their family support systems. Deliver single sessions and support within a multi-disciplinary team focused on child and youth mental health. Maintain membership in the relevant Ontario College and possess bilingualism in English and French. Hold a valid G2 driver's license or access to a vehicle, with a valid G Class license required as a condition of employment. Required Qualifications
- Eligible or registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) as a Social Worker
- Eligible or registered and in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO)
- Eligible or registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse
- Eligible or registered and in good standing with the College of Psychologists
- Eligible or registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
- Clinical skills in the area of children's mental health
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with other professionals
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Bilingualism (English/French)
- Minimum G2 driver's license at the time of application
- Willingness to obtain a valid G Class driver's license as a condition of employment
- Possession of a valid G Class driver's license and access to their own vehicle
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counselling, Psychology or a Health-Related Discipline
- Bachelor of Social Work
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Other four year Honours degrees combined with a College diploma accepted by the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW), College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) or College of Nurses of Ontario
