Clinician - Part Time - Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant or Certified Nurse Midwife

Job Summary
Conduct physical exams, procedural skills, judgment, charting, and counseling for patients in accordance with agency protocols. Evaluate and treat medical problems, document patient data accurately, and supervise follow-up procedures for abnormal laboratory results. Dispense prescription medications under standing order and manage emergency situations as they arise, consulting with physicians as necessary. Participate in team approaches to patient care, meet productivity and revenue cycle goals, and complete incident reports when necessary. Required to take after-hours calls and may be deployed to other sites including Orange and San Bernardino County locations. Transition from full-time training for 10-12 weeks to part-time schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Current California clinician's license
- Furnishing license, as applicable to NP
- CPR certification
- ACLS required for surgical sites
- Nurse Practitioner, Physician's Assistant or Certified Nurse Midwife with reproductive/primary care specialty
- Valid CA driver's license
- Reliable means of transportation
- Current auto insurance in compliance with the minimum requirements of the California Vehicle Code
- Bilingual skills (reading, writing, and speaking) - if required
- Board Certification preferred
- Preferred women's, managed/primary health care experience
- 4/10 Alternative work schedule
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
