Clinician Outpatient Services

The Clinician provides outpatient mental health services to children, adolescents, and families in a rural Hudson Valley community. Responsibilities include assessing client understanding and impact of problems, applying DSM diagnoses, utilizing the mental status exam, following protocols for high-risk clients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, coordinating with collateral contacts and community resources, delivering feedback to improve service quality, incorporating treatment for clients with co-occurring disorders, adapting to policy and documentation changes, and representing the agency professionally while upholding core values.
