Job Summary
Conduct direct mental health services and home assessments for agency-approved clientele, ensuring physical safety and stability within resource family environments. Maintain confidentiality of client records while documenting assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in the electronic health record. Provide client-centered advocacy by assessing needs, securing referrals, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop permanency plans. Ensure all documentation in the UC portal is accurate and timely, while coordinating with foster parents to implement individualized treatment plans. Maintain regular communication with the treatment team to monitor case progress and ensure culturally sensitive, trauma-informed care aligned with ORR contract requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Master's degree in social work, clinical psychology, or related relevant behavioral science degree in which direct clinical experience is a program requirement
- Registration required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) or Associate Marriage Family Therapist (AMFT) or Associate Professional Counselor (APCC)
- Individual Malpractice Insurance
- Proficiency in general office software including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
