Job Summary
NRV Recovery Court Clinician provides clinical, case management, and consultation services for individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders, and/or developmental disabilities and their families/caregivers. Responsibilities include supportive counseling, therapy, crisis intervention, screening and triage, assessment, ISP development, psychoeducation, and referrals to consumers and their families/caregivers. May travel to other sites as needed to coordinate care and maintain relationships with individuals served, families, other NRVCS programs, and community resources.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or other licensed-eligible human services field
- State of Virginia License in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or Marriage and Family Therapy preferred
- License eligibility required if not fully licensed and board registration within three months of hire
- At least one year of clinical experience with individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders, developmental and/or intellectual disabilities preferred
