Job Summary
Coordinate and oversee therapeutic aspects of the program, ensuring fidelity across clinical and administrative components. Lead and supervise staff and interns; provide clinical services for children and families with mental health needs; conduct psychiatric and psychosocial assessments, develop differential diagnoses, and create case formulations and treatment plans. Travel to family-based centers to provide training and support; deliver group-based parenting and teacher training using evidence-based curricula; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, maintain HIPAA confidentiality, and adhere to program policies. Requires a Master’s in Social Work (or equivalent Master’s in Human Services), licensure/certification (LSW/LPC/LCSW or state equivalent), 2–3 years’ mental health experience, and experience with diverse urban populations.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s in Social Work or equivalent Masters in Human Services
- LSW, LPC, LCSW or state licensure/certification specific to program requirement
- Demonstrated ability to supervise others
- Two to three years’ experience in mental health
- Experience with young children
- Experience with diverse populations in an urban setting
- Knowledge of psychiatric disorders and various treatment modalities (group, family, individual)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to supervise mental health staff regarding clinical interventions and formulate treatment plans
