Job Summary
Behavioral Health Clinician works in coordination with interdisciplinary teams to organize, prepare, and deliver evidence-based clinical services in the Child/Adolescent Outpatient department. Clinical services include individual, group and family therapy. This position provides services Monday through Friday, totaling 24 hours/week, with the opportunity to pick up more hours. Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments, establishing care plans, providing direct patient care (case management, care coordination, crisis intervention/safety planning, counseling, and emotional support), referring patients to appropriate levels of care, and maintaining timely patient-centered documentation compliant with licensing requirements. Behavioral Health Clinicians are eligible for a Sign On Bonus up to $1,300.00.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy or related human service field
- Current Connecticut LMSW, LPC-A, LMFT-A, or CADC
- Previous healthcare setting experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Cognizant of health-related social needs and cultural competence
