Job Summary
Conduct intake interviews and assess student and family needs, then prepare goal-oriented diagnostic assessments, service plans, and progress reports. Facilitate student groups on social and behavioral issues and provide case consultations, one-on-one counseling, and crisis intervention. Maintain communication with Parole/Probation Officers and community caseworkers while ensuring proper documentation of therapeutic plans and services. Attend weekly staffing to review student progress and program compliance, participate in conflict resolution sessions, and conduct staff trainings. Provide quality assurance support and supervision, modeling appropriate verbal de-escalation methods. Requires LPC, LCSW, or related license with 1-2 years of adolescent experience; must hold CPR certification and Handle With Care certification in a busy office environment with frequent unscheduled interruptions.
Required Qualifications
- LPC, LPC - I, LCSW, LMSW, LCDC, LCDC-I, LPC-A
- 1 - 2 years of full-time work experience with adolescents
- Master's Degree in clinical social work, counseling or other mental health field, or clinical or counseling psychologist
- Clinical assessment and treatment skills
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
- Cleared background check from appropriate entity
- Handle With Care Certification
- CPR certification
Desired Qualifications
- Two (2) years of supervisory training or experience
