Job Summary

Conduct clinical and risk assessments to provide treatment interventions consistent with the Jail Diversion program model. Collaborate with clients to create individualized, person-centered treatment plans and develop discharge plans utilizing natural support. Provide crisis assessment and intervention while maintaining records according to agency policy. Transport clients using agency or personal vehicles and cover team members during absences. Participate in weekly supervision, consultations, and meetings, and obtain certification in evidence-based practices as required. Work within courts and mental health systems to divert adult clients with mental health or substance abuse issues from unnecessary jail stays.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree or higher in related field
  • LMSW
  • LPC-A
  • LMFT-A
  • Valid Driver's License for programs where transportation is required

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working with trauma, mental illness and/or serious emotional disorders and/or substance use disorders preferred
  • LCSW
  • LMFT
  • LPC
  • Licensed Psychologist
  • LADC may be substituted for LCSW, LMFT, LPC or Licensed Psychologist in some programs
