Job Summary
Conduct individual and group psychotherapy with adults experiencing severe and persistent mental illness in offices, homes, the field, or interim housing facilities. Coordinate mental health and recovery services to ensure housing stability and community integration while developing trusting relationships that facilitate independence. Provide crisis intervention services, including after-hours support, and collaborate on program evaluation and modification. Maintain accurate member files with funder-required documents and participate in weekly staff meetings and clinical supervision. Transport members to local sites using a reliable vehicle.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Worker, Psychology, or a related field of study from an accredited university
- Valid registration or licensure with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences
- Current, valid California Driver's license with an acceptable driving record and reliable vehicle
- Able to transport members in your vehicle
- Outstanding clinical and strong team-building skills
- Detail oriented with excellent time management, organizational, written, verbal, interpersonal, and computer skills
Desired Qualifications
- Able to learn quickly and work effectively with a wide range of constituencies and with minimal supervision
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and database applications
- Experience working with those living with mental illness and/or substance addictions
- Experience completing DMH documentation
- Bilingual Spanish
