Job Summary
Clinician in Training for a full-time center-based ABA role working with children ages 2-9 diagnosed with autism. You will be paired with an experienced BCBA mentor to learn responsibilities such as sharing caseloads, assisting with programming targets and assessments, creating materials for learners, maintaining therapy materials, supporting parent meetings, updating data sheets, and contributing to monthly progress reports. The role emphasizes hands-on training through a CiT sequence, shadowing, and progressive independence in running consults, with duties including non-billable tasks, team training, and collaboration with BCBA mentors to accelerate client success within a center-based environment.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of BCBA supervision hours (1650 accrued)
- Waiting to take the BCBA exam or newly certified and applying for licensure
- Ability to lift, transport, and chase clients (minimum 30 pounds) as needed
- Interest in working with children with autism in a center-based ABA setting
- Willingness to participate in CiT Training sequence and mentorship by a BCBA
- Ability to work full-time Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
- Experience or interest in ABA therapy and data-driven programming
- Ability to assist with parent meetings and preparing materials for families
