Job Summary
Provides clinical assessment, crisis intervention, individual, family, and group therapy, and case management. Develops and monitors treatment plans, documents significant interactions, and maintains clinical records. Requires experience with emotional and behavioral problems, knowledge of treatment approaches, and proficiency in documentation. Skilled in Windows based applications and standard office equipment is necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in human services or related field required
- Licensed in the State of Colorado
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC) designation or currently pursuing designation
- Two (2) years post-graduate experience in human services related field preferred
- Working knowledge of mental illness, and psychopathology and associated treatment modalities
- Knowledge of community health and mental health resources and their eligibility criteria
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload in a sometimes hectic environment with frequent interruptions
