Job Summary
Clinician II develops a recovery service plan and uses recovery-oriented therapeutic counseling to engage individuals in their individual recovery journey. The Clinician II also orients individuals to the program by collaborating and assessing needs, identifying challenges and facilitating the development of goals in the treatment and recovery process. Responsibilities include guest care & advocacy (conducting clinical assessments and treatment plans, providing short- and long-term counseling, family education), and compliance & risk management (provisional diagnosis, medical necessity documentation, timely authorizations, incident reports, and adherence to regulations). Work location is Crisis - Bridge Center For Hope, Baton Rouge, LA, with shift options from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM; minimum two shifts per month, plus holiday coverage. Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field from an accredited college or university
- Associate Licensure in good standing in an applicable Behavioral Health field required
- State professional certification where applicable
- Minimum of one (1) year of behavioral health experience required
