Job Summary
Clinician II provides psychiatric patient care within an interdisciplinary team, conducts biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning within 48–72 hours, meets with patients regularly for face-to-face therapeutic contact, leads group meetings, delivers crisis intervention services, documents progress and discharge planning, and collaborates with community providers. Requires a Master’s degree and active Maine licensure (LCSW/LMSW-CC/LCPC-C/LCPC or LADC); CPI training is preferred; English proficiency is required. The role emphasizes assessment, treatment planning, collaboration, group facilitation, crisis response, and discharge planning within a hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree required
- Current Maine Social Worker/Clinician license required
- LCSW, LMSW-CC, LCPC-C, LCPC, or LADC required
- CPI training preferred or obtained before completion of orientation
- The ability to speak, read, write, and understand written instructions in English is required
