Job Summary
Conduct intake, assessments, and diagnostic interviews for clients with behavioral health and substance use disorders. Manage assigned caseloads by developing individualized service plans, facilitating psycho-educational groups, and providing individual, family, and group counseling. Coordinate case management services, link clients to community and medical resources, and deliver crisis intervention and prevention services. Document all client data, progress notes, and reports while monitoring records for regulatory and reimbursement compliance. Represent clients in court proceedings as needed and supervise student interns. Requires a Master's degree, active clinical license, and valid Virginia driver's license. Eligible for a $4K sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree with coursework in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field
- considerable experience working with clients with behavioral health disorders and substance use disorders in a behavioral healthcare or residential setting
- Licensed Mental Health Professional
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker
- Licensed Professional Counselor
- Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner
- license eligible
- Valid driver's license in the Commonwealth of Virginia
