Job Summary
Provide clinical leadership in comprehensive assessments, case conferences, treatment plans and strategic interventions to ensure quality service delivery. Lead treatment teams, participate in crisis intervention, provide clinical supervision to staff/interns/volunteers, and ensure service delivery meets client, family, and payor needs with sound clinical judgment. Serve as shift leader, train and guide staff, interns, and volunteers, and coordinate with Benefits and Intake Specialists to obtain treatment authorization. Deliver individual and group treatment services, collaborate with families and third parties, conduct assessments and needs analyses, develop goal-oriented treatment plans, facilitate rehabilitation/counseling groups, and coordinate referrals and discharge planning. Maintain timely clinical records, ensure compliance with agency and regulatory requirements, provide crisis coverage, and support program management to maintain CARF/contract/regulatory standards. Requires Master’s degree and licensure eligibility in the mental health field, ongoing CE requirements, and a valid CA driver’s license (where applicable). This role is part-time with hybrid in-person/telehealth duties and hourly wage ranges per Union scale.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in the mental health profession
- one year of experience in human services settings (mental health)
- Eligibility for registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (AMFT/ACSW/APCC) or eligibility for her/his licensure as psychologist/psychological assistant
- First Aid Certification or successful completion within 30 days of hire (if assigned to residential facilities)
- Minimum 20 hours of related professional training for continuing education credits (if assigned to a residential facility)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team; manage caseload; effective communication in English; strong documentation skills
- Ability to conduct group rehabilitation services; crisis intervention; discharge planning; treatment planning; and collaboration with payors and providers
- Valid California driver’s license and access to reliable vehicle (preferred for La Selva programs)
