Job Summary
Assess individual and family situations with a focus on school success and identify problem areas, treatment goals, and methods to attain goals leading to improved performance at school. Assist school personnel when behavioral situations occur involving students on your caseload and work with the education team and local school district to develop a comprehensive Individual Education Plan. Provide therapeutic services to children and families using differential modalities and work with an interdisciplinary team to develop a comprehensive treatment plan. Prepare reports and correspondence as needed with referring and collateral agencies and record and maintain case records in accordance with agency OMH, DOE, and other state mandates. Participate in intake assessments as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
- Clinical licensure is preferred; a Limited Permit is required
