Job Summary
Conduct individual and group psychotherapy using evidenced-based practices, trauma-informed care, and a strength-based approach to help individuals achieve recovery goals. Facilitate rehabilitative activities including educational, vocational, and leisure programs while developing treatment plan goals through bio-psycho-social assessments. Provide recovery-oriented screenings, complete detailed clinical documentation, and perform EBP screenings to ensure quality data and outcome reporting. Report crises and unusual incidents immediately or within 24 hours as required. Participate in the multi-disciplinary treatment team, Quality Improvement Program, and all assigned internal and external meetings. Maintain compliance with COMHAR policies and regulations regarding recordkeeping and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- excellent verbal/written communication skills
- good, creative problem-solving skills
- excellent clinical skills including assessment, individual and group therapy
- knowledge of behavioral health systems, community resources
- ability to work independently
- flexible/adaptive in handling changing priorities in a fast paced work environment
- computer skills
- Master's degree in a clinical discipline
- at least 1 year of clinical MH experience
- Training &/or experience in Forensic psychology
- Professional license, certification, or registration if relevant to field
