Job Summary
Clinician (Behavioral Health Technician) to join the Clinical team in Peoria, providing psychoeducational and supportive behavioral health services to Intensive Outpatient Program participants. Responsibilities include facilitating IOP group sessions, conducting monthly individual check-ins, managing treatment plans and progress toward program goals, coordinating with the clinical care team, and supporting recovery and community reintegration through employment and independent living supports. The role emphasizes timely, accurate electronic health record documentation, discharge planning, and ongoing collaboration with the care team. Successful candidates will demonstrate clinical judgment, effective communication, organization, and the ability to maintain high standards of member care, with a focus on trauma-informed and recovery-oriented practices and adherence to KPIs and quality expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) designation or equivalent
- Experience with substance use and trauma-related needs
- Knowledge of psychoeducational group curricula and experience facilitating group sessions
- Strong communication, organization, time management, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to documentation standards and care coordination
