Job Summary
Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to children and families in community and Dunwoody/Atlanta offices; conduct clinical assessments to determine diagnosis and treatment plans; deliver individual, family, and group therapy; provide psycho-educational and skill-building programming; conduct crisis, suicide, and homicide risk assessments; engage in outreach with schools, parents/caregivers, and community resources; complete clinical notes within 72 business hours; maintain a caseload of ~15 sessions per week across ~21 total hours; maintain an independent schedule with late afternoon/evening hours; participate in meetings and supervision; part-time commitment to improve community access to mental health services.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related behavioral health field
- Fully Licensed (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) or license eligible in Georgia (APC, LMSW, AMFT)
- Experience working with children and families, including special needs children, marital conflict, and major mental illness
- Experience conducting clinical assessments, psychotherapy, and care coordination
- Willingness to work with managed care referrals
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to use Microsoft Word and learn electronic medical record systems
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to meet deadlines
- Experience conducting workshops and comfort with public speaking assignments preferred
- Play therapy experience and/or DBT intensive training preferred
- Knowledgeable about Judaism and Jewish families preferred
- Reliable transportation for travel to community-based service locations
