Job Summary
The Clinician position involves providing psychotherapy and support to children and families, including completing comprehensive assessments and individualized treatment plans. Candidates should have a master's level degree in social work or a related field, be licensed or license eligible in a relevant discipline, and possess experience in mental health or substance use treatment. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to maintain 28 billable hours a week while attending required meetings and training.
Required Qualifications
- MSW, MA, or M.Ed in social work, psychology, counseling or related field required
- Must be licensed or license eligible for LMHC, LMFT, LADCI, LICSW, or LCSW
- Must have mental health or substance use treatment experience
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must have a vehicle
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish and/or Portuguese and/or Cape Verdean Creole, and English
