Job Summary
Conduct individual, family, and group therapeutic interventions using evidence-based practices while managing a caseload of clients with therapeutic, rehabilitative, and case management needs. Complete biopsychosocial evaluations, develop clinical treatment plans, and monitor client progress through accurate documentation and regular updates. Provide quality case management services, identify community resources, and advocate for client access to needed care and services. Interpret billing procedures, consult with external agencies, and participate in clinical supervision to ensure adherence to agency standards and the Recovery Model.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Human Services field
- Licensed Social Work (LSW)
- Working towards Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW)
- Plan to obtain licensure at the soonest date possible within a maximum allowed of three years
- Valid Indiana driver's license that meets Eskenazi Health's driving policy requirements
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
- Certified Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselor (CADAC) II
- Certified Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselor (CADAC) IV
- Indiana Certified Addiction Counselor (ICAC) I
- Indiana Certified Addiction Counselor (ICAC) II
- Licensed Social Worker (LSW) with Medication Assisted Treatment Specialist (MATS)
- Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor (LCAC)
- Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC)
- Master Addiction Counselor (MAC)
- National Certified Addiction Counselor (NCAC) I
- Understanding of and ability to implement a strengths-based, community treatment model
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to be both clear and concise in written and verbal communications
- Solid knowledge of psychiatric/addiction diagnoses and understanding of their impact on behavior and all life domains
- Solid knowledge of psychotropic medications and their uses and side effects
- Willingness and ability to work cooperatively in a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to use age-appropriate communication skills
- Ability to interpret and apply complex directives, information, and regulations
- Crisis intervention skills
- Experience and training to safely manage therapeutic services to patients and to provide therapeutic services to patients receiving Opioid treatment medication
