Job Summary
Review and approve sponsor research budgets using BRANY's proprietary software to ensure accuracy and consistency. Generate monthly invoices to study sponsors based on research activity entered by external sites. Manage high-volume collections by conducting consistent follow-up on past due invoices via email, phone, and other communication methods. Compare payments received from study sponsors with internal records and process payments to external research sites on a timely basis. Utilize analytical skills to reconcile study data and maintain accurate financial records. Perform a final financial reconciliation of research activities and payments upon completion of a clinical trial. Report to the Supervisor and participate in other departmental projects as necessary. This role requires working in the Melville office twice monthly and involves extensive training with engaged leaders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business
- Minimum three years of experience working in a Finance, Accounting, or Clinical Research Financial Management Role
- Detail-oriented
- Capable problem solver
- Ability to utilize analytical skills to identify errors and inconsistencies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to learn proprietary software quickly
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word
