Job Summary
The Clinical Trial Liaison (CTL) supports Global Development clinical study execution as the local field-based representative for the sponsor in one or more countries/regions, focusing on Cardiology. Responsible for providing country/regional operational insights for site feasibility, site identification/selection, and patient recruitment strategies; participates in Clinical Study Team Meetings and Quality Review Meetings; attends investigator meetings and monitors; conducts site visits with investigator site staff or CROs; tracks site issues and escalates as needed; supports regulatory GCP inspections as sponsor representative; completes SOP-aligned administrative tasks and expense reporting; manages travel and local expenses per sponsor policies; brings extensive site-facing clinical trial operations experience and strong communication to build relations within the medical community; expects frequent travel within the territory and a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree; master’s preferred or terminal degree (MD, PhD or PharmD)
- 8+ years relevant industry and/or CRO experience
- Extensive experience in site-facing clinical trial operations
- Cardiology clinical trial experience
- Extensive medical and scientific knowledge and clinical development understanding
- Excellent interpersonal skills and collaboration as well as independent working style
- Ability to build relationships with the external medical community
- Willingness to travel frequently within assigned geographical territory, including overnight travel
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Cross-cultural awareness
- Strong organizational and time-prioritization skills
