Job Summary
Guide patients from consultation through treatment completion by coordinating appointments, provider schedules, and treatment timelines. Monitor patient progress, proactively address care delays, and support prior authorization workflows with Authorization Specialists and revenue cycle partners. Collaborate with clinical teams to manage specialty pharmacy activities, medication access, and treatment readiness requirements. Maintain accurate patient records, financial estimates, and documentation within CRM and EHR systems while responding to patient questions with empathy and urgency. Ensure high-quality patient experiences while meeting operational and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the US
- Bachelor's degree and at least one year of experience in patient care coordination, case management, healthcare operations, or a specialty care setting
- High School Diploma or Associate Degree with two or more years of relevant healthcare coordination or patient support experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with EHR and CRM systems (AdvancedMD and Salesforce preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Knowledge of insurance benefits, prior authorizations, or healthcare scheduling is highly valued
- Behavioral health or specialty healthcare
- TMS or Spravato treatment programs
- Prior authorization and insurance workflows
- Specialty pharmacy or Buy & Bill processes
