Clinical Training Specialist - Houston, TX

Job Summary

Provide in-person case coverage and ensure product availability for assigned procedures. Train and educate physicians, nurses, and hospital staff on VIS product usage and procedures while maintaining a hands-off posture during patient contact. Manage disposable inventory, process paperwork, and track customer complaints. Conduct new installation support, perform first-line technical service support, and deliver on-site clinical support during procedures. Develop training content using engineering documentation and coordinate large group presentations at seminars and trade shows. Collaborate with Medical Affairs teams and provide competitive product performance information to headquarters.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license in the state they reside
  • No prior DUI/DWI convictions or pending DUI/DWI charges or other serious moving violations (unless such a restriction is prohibited by state/local law)
  • Proof of valid identification (photo, driver's license, SSN)
  • Criminal background checks
  • Drug screens
  • Immunizations (COVID-19, Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Influenza, Tetanus)
  • Annual TB testing
  • Healthcare training
  • Ability to lift approx. 150 pounds
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • Clinical Background – IR/CT Technician, Operating Room Nurse or Surgical Technician
  • Experience/Knowledge of IR suite, Operating Room Protocol and Sterile Technique
  • Experience in supporting vascular procedures
  • Experience in supporting tissue ablation procedures
  • Ability to work in a high-intensity, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Analytical with an ability/desire to solve problems
  • Team player
  • Must live within close proximity or be willing to relocate to Houston, TX
  • Must be able to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law
  • Must meet all Vendor Credentialing requirements necessary to have full client access

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred
  • Experience in supporting vascular procedures highly regarded
  • Experience in supporting tissue ablation procedures highly regarded
