Clinical Training Instructor – Medical Physicist delivers advanced, physics-focused training on Accuray radiotherapy systems, including treatment planning, QA, and system performance. Based at the Genolier Innovation Hub in Switzerland (Vaud), the role leads in-person and virtual training for global customers, combining classroom instruction, demonstrations, and hands-on workshops with curriculum development and ongoing clinical support. The position emphasizes translating complex radiation physics concepts into clinically applicable guidance, supporting new system implementations and ongoing customer development, with a ~70-80% focus on clinical training and curriculum development and ~20-30% on clinical support. The role requires collaboration across Clinical Support, R&D, Product Management, and Marketing, and participation in international training initiatives and events.

Required Qualifications

  • Board-certified or board-eligible Medical Physicist (or equivalent international certification)
  • Experience in stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), SBRT, or advanced motion management techniques (e.g., Synchrony®)
  • Prior experience in clinical education, training, or academic teaching roles
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required
  • MS or PhD in Medical Physics or related field
  • Strong clinical expertise in radiation oncology physics, including treatment planning, QA, and workflow integration
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Ability to travel internationally (~30%)
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning

Desired Qualifications

  • Board-certified or board-eligible Medical Physicist (or equivalent international certification)
  • Experience in stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), SBRT, or advanced motion management techniques (e.g., Synchrony®)
  • Prior experience in clinical education, training, or academic teaching roles
  • Fluency in additional languages (e.g., French) is a plus
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required
  • Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Medical Physics or related field
  • Strong clinical expertise in radiation oncology physics, including treatment planning, QA, and workflow integration
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Ability to travel internationally (~30%)
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning
