Job Summary
Lead the organization's onboarding, training, and professional development programs for clinical and non-clinical staff. Develop and execute annual training strategies aligned with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and workforce initiatives. Oversee the Learning Management System, manage mandatory compliance training for HIPAA, OSHA, NCQA, and Massachusetts regulations, and ensure audit readiness. Assess training needs through performance data and employee feedback to drive continuous improvement in competency and engagement. Monitor training metrics, onboarding outcomes, and compliance adherence to present workforce development dashboards to leadership. Manage departmental budgets for educational resources and vendor partnerships while implementing process improvements. Partner with clinical leadership, HR, and IT to optimize the employee experience from pre-hire through the first 90 days.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field
- RN license preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in healthcare training, staff development, clinical education, learning and development, or a related field
- Minimum of two (2) years of leadership, supervisory, or program management experience
- Experience managing compliance-based and state-regulated training programs
- Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and workforce development practices
- Experience administering Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, LMS platforms, and healthcare technology systems
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to drive safely
- Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 35 pounds
- Ability to push and pull equipment and supplies weighing up to 35 pounds
- Ability to negotiate stairs
- Visual acuity and manual dexterity to operate equipment
