Job Summary
Develop and deliver clinical and non-clinical training programs tailored to staff needs in a healthcare or managed care environment. Identify training audiences, coordinate sessions via Outlook, and facilitate learning using facilitator guides rather than scripts to ensure adult learning principles are applied. Create safe, respectful environments where participants actively engage through varied questioning techniques while addressing issues that hinder progress. Administer post-training surveys, gather feedback, and maintain detailed records of activities and completion rates to evaluate effectiveness. Provide management reports on program impact and recommend improvements based on the latest trends in learning and development.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN / Social Work License
- At least 1-2 years of experience in training, staff development, or education within a healthcare or managed care environment
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in care management, utilization management, case management, or related field
- Exceptional facilitation, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to develop clear, engaging, and effective training materials
- Collaborative, flexible, and skilled at managing multiple priorities in a demanding environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and motivate adult learners
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or social work
- Must Reside in NY/NJ/CT
