Job Summary
The Therapy Team Leader assists the Director of Therapy Operations in day-to-day operations of a therapy team or discipline, delegating and supervising tasks of therapist assistants and technicians; manages staffing, scheduling, orientation, and training to ensure adequate patient treatment coverage; maintains interdepartmental communications; provides leadership to improve staff clinical skills and performance; oversees department operation including measurement, assessment, and continuous improvement; typically provides patient care 80%–90% of work hours. Requires current licensure/certification, CPR within 30 days, and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in an accredited therapy program, plus at least three years of leadership/clinical experience in occupational therapy; preferred active Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty certifications. Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire within this role
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited therapy program required
- Minimum of three years of experience in occupational therapy or leadership, with a minimum of two years of clinical experience
- Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder (when eligible) or specialty professional certifications preferred
