Job Summary
Therapy Team Leader role overseeing therapy operations and supervision in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Responsibilities include supervising therapists, assistants, and technicians; staffing, scheduling, orientation, and training; maintaining interdepartmental communication to ensure patient care coverage; and driving department performance through measurement and continuous improvement. The position emphasizes leadership, staff development, clinical mentorship, and ensuring alignment with the hospital mission while supporting patient treatments (80%–90% patient care).
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire within this role.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited therapy program required.
- Minimum of three years of experience in occupational therapy or leadership, with a minimum of two years of clinical experience.
