Job Summary

Provide individual, family, and group counseling and psychotherapy to assigned caseloads, including clients with severe mental illness and substance use disorders. Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships while completing documented evidence-based treatment plans and progress notes for each client. Respond to mental health emergencies in a culturally responsive manner, identifying appropriate interventions and accessing community resources for crisis support. Act as a liaison to coordinate referrals and participate actively in treatment conferences and meetings with assigned professionals. Maintain accurate clinical, legal, and financial documentation within agency guidelines and attend regular supervision. Possess a valid LSW, LPC, or LMFT license, a Bachelor's degree, and two years of experience working with adults, youth, and families.

Required Qualifications

  • LSW, LPC, or LMFT license
  • Bachelor's degree from accredited program or higher
  • Valid Ohio Driver's License with a safe driving record and valid insurance
  • Ability to access work locations, offices, community settings, early learning programs, and homes as necessary, which may include ascending/descending stairs
  • Ability to respond to urgent referrals and mental health crises in a timely, organized, and compassionate manner
  • Ability to maintain relevant, timely documentation as required
  • Effective computer literacy skills, including Windows applications, Microsoft Office Suite, and electronic health records
  • Must be able to access work locations, offices, community settings, early learning programs, and homes as necessary, which may include ascending/descending stairs
  • Possess a valid Ohio Driver's License with a safe driving record and valid insurance
  • Successfully complete pre-employment screenings, including drug tests, background checks, and any other required assessments, such as a physical examination and TB test
  • Ability to customarily and regularly exercise discretion and good professional judgment
  • Strong organizational skills; able to handle multiple priorities with strict attention to detail and perform work independently
  • Effective interpersonal skills; able to speak effectively with individuals and/or groups of people
  • Flexible; able to work days, evenings, and/or weekends, as desired to meet the needs of clients
  • Must be able to access work locations, offices, community settings, early learning programs, and homes as necessary, which may include ascending/descending stairs
  • Possess a valid Ohio Driver's License with a safe driving record and valid insurance
  • Successfully complete pre-employment screenings, including drug tests, background checks, and any other required assessments, such as a physical examination and TB test

Desired Qualifications

  • TWO (2) years experience working with adults, youth and families preferred
  • Knowledge of adult and youth based mental health principles preferred
