Job Summary
Conduct trauma-informed psychotherapy groups, family therapy, and collateral sessions while performing intakes and assessments to determine service needs and develop treatment plans. Facilitate attachment processes and provide field-based services to high-risk clients through home visits, counseling, and community outreach. Collaborate with supervisors, medical doctors, and child protective services workers to advocate for parents and children during referrals. Ensure timely completion of progress notes and documentation within the Electronic Health Record System. Work flexible, non-traditional, evening, and weekend hours as required for time-sensitive projects. Maintain a valid California driver's license and clean driving record to support field duties.
Required Qualifications
- A master's degree or equivalent (MSW, MA, Ph.D., PsyD, or MS)
- clinical experience and/or training directly related to children and child counseling
- Training directly related to children and child counseling
- complete a test for TB
- fingerprint clearance by the US Department of Justice
- A valid CA driver license
- an insurable driving record
- Current registration with licensing board
