Job Summary
The Clinical Therapist role involves providing community-based behavioral health services to adults, children, and families with a commitment to achieving excellence in service. The position requires a Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work, Guidance and Counseling, Psychology, or a related health field, along with New Mexico Licensure. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Behavioral Health field, specifically with SED children and families or SMI/SUD/COD adults. Strong communication skills and familiarity with community resources are necessary for building positive relationships with clients and colleagues. The job emphasizes the importance of employee success and growth through supervision and training opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree or Doctorate from an accredited college or university in Social Work; Guidance and Counseling; Psychology; or related health field
- Experience in Behavioral Health with up to two years of experience working with SED children and families or SMI/SUD/COD adults
- New Mexico Licensure in one or more of the following: LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, PhD, PsyD, LMSW, LMHC, LPAT
- Thorough knowledge and use of community resources
- Ability to consistently establish positive relationships and communicate effectively with clients, families, colleagues, and community members
- Must be computer literate for compliance purposes
- Must have and maintain current, valid NM Driver’s License, clean driving record, and auto insurance
Desired Qualifications
- Bi-lingual/Bi-cultural preferred (English/Spanish)
