Job Summary
Clinical Therapist - School Based Mental Health provides strength-based, trauma-informed psychotherapy and supportive services to youth and families in school or community settings. Responsibilities include individual, family, and group therapy; developing and implementing treatment plans; crisis resolution planning; school-based consultation; classroom support; community collaboration; and engagement with schools, counties, and community resources. Must deliver services across home, school, and partner locations in the Greater Milwaukee area, using culturally respectful communication and collaborative relationships. Requires a Master’s degree in a related field, appropriate licensure or licensure-in-training credentials (LPC-IT/LMFT-IT/APSW/ATR-P or equivalent; LPC/LMFT/LCSW/ATR preferred), and valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. Onsite or hybrid work options are available; travel by personal vehicle is regular, and a broadband connection is expected for remote components. Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social work, Clinical Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Art Therapy or similar required
- LPC-IT, LMFT-IT, APSW, or ATR-P required; LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or ATR preferred
- Two years post masters experience preferred
- Must have Wisconsin Driver’s License or occupational driver’s license with reliable transportation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Teams, ADP
- Physical exam, drug screen, motor vehicle report, and background checks required
- Duties include Direct Therapy Services, Consultation and support in schools, Community Collaboration, Teacher Consultation/Classroom Support, Professionalism, Agency Engagement
- Full time position; Onsite/Hybrid work available
- Travel in personal vehicles required
